We strive to serve the Kalamazoo (and surrounding) community while
utilizing skills we have developed through our
projects in our engineering classes.
Our local project recently finished an engaging workshop at the Grand Rapids refugee center teaching children about the fundamentals of math and science, building capsules that would protect eggs from a 2 story drop.
The team is still exploring projects for the students that can expose them to different types of electrical and mechanical engineering.
We are currently planning for a larger two year local project in the near future, and while this project has not been solidified yet, the local team is excited to research opportunities that can make a positive impact on our community through means of sustainable energy and against the rising issues of pollution.
